Properties

Laurel leaves are rich in essential oil containing cineole, tannin, daphne, dafnin, dafnone, wax, resin and starch. The fruits contain fatty oil and essential oil consisting of cineole, geraniol and linalool. Laurel oil strengthens the hair structure, nourishes, strengthens and gives shine to the hair, offers significant help in the treatment of hair loss and split ends. Moisturizes and nourishes the skin. It is ideal for women and men. Apply first at the root and then all over the hair. Keep it for at least an hour before shampooing.

Harvest

The leaves of HOLOMON organic herbs’ native bay leaves are collected from Mount Holomontas in September at an altitude of 884m – 1160m and the fruit in September to October depending on its maturity stage. The selection of herbs is based on their growth stage. We always collect those parts of the plant that are suitable for the creation of the products, but without inactivating its growth.

Production

Holomon Organic Herbs’ Laurel oil comes from the immersion of fresh fruits and leaves (organically grown) in extra virgin olive oil (low acidity). It is prepared by the traditional slow method, as it takes almost two months to complete the extraction of the oil. 100% Natural product.
