Properties

The organic herbal blend with Tusilago (cough), Althea, Malva and Sambucus is considered ideal for cough and asthma. Thanks to its emollient and expectorant properties, it helps to relieve respiratory problems, soothes persistent cough and fluidizes mucous secretions. It also helps people who smoke to reduce coughing from smoking.

Harvest

The herbs that make up the mixture are harvested on Mount Holomontas from 650m – 900m altitude.

The composition of the herbal mixture of HOLOMON organic herbs begins in April with the harvest of Malva and continues in May with the harvest of Sambucus, then in July with the harvest of Althea, the process of collecting the herbal mixture is completed in August with the harvest of Tusilagon (Vihio).

The selection of herbs is based on their growth stage. We always collect those parts of the plant that are suitable for the creation of the products, but without inactivating its growth. The suitable stems are harvested by hand and then dried in specially designed natural drying areas, without the use of environmental machinery.

Standardization

Once the drying of the herbs is completed, the stems are again hand-sorted to be taken to the standardization process, which takes place in certified, specially designed areas, with modern machinery to ensure the quality and safety of the final product.
