Properties

The main properties of Linden or Tilium are found in the blossom and the leaf of the flower, which contain emollients, volatile oils rich in farnesol and is considered very good for flu, colds and improves digestion, has expectorant, antipyretic, sedative, diaphoretic properties and cleanses the blood of toxins, used for hypertension, arteriosclerosis, cardiac and digestive abnormalities, ideal for nervous tension and headaches.

Harvest

HOLOMON organic herbs’ organic Linden tree is collected from Mount Holomontas in June during the flowering period at an altitude of 884m – 1030m.The selection of herbs is based on their growth stage. We always collect those parts of the plant that are suitable for the creation of the products, but without inactivating its growth. The suitable stems are harvested by hand and then dried in specially designed natural drying areas, without the use of environmental machinery.

Standardization

Once the drying of the herbs is completed, the stems are again hand-sorted to be taken to the standardization process, which takes place in certified, specially designed areas, with modern machinery to ensure the quality and safety of the final product.
