Properties
Propolis is a sticky substance produced by bees and used by bees to seal and disinfect the inside of the hive. It contains more than 300 different beneficial substances for our body, such as flavonoids that reach 50% which activate the immune system and shield our body against viruses and infections. It consists of balsamic resins (flavonoids etc.) wax and fatty acids, essential oils, pollen and other organic substances.
Attention: Propolis should be taken with caution at first because there is a possibility of causing an allergy. The incidence of allergies due to propolis is very low (1 person in 2,000) but it should still be used topically first. If red spots appear, use should be discontinued.
