Harvest
The organic herbs that make up the mixture are harvested from Mount Holomontas and from the peninsula of Sithonia at an altitude of 110m – 1160m.
The composition of the herbal mixture HOLOMON organic herbs, begins in May with the harvest of Rosemary and continues in June with the harvest of Basil, at the beginning of July we move to the peninsula of Sithonia to collect Thyme. We return to the tops of Holomontas and complete the process of collecting the herbal mixture at the end of July with the harvesting of the Oregano. The selection of herbs is based on their growth stage. We always collect those parts of the plant that are suitable for the creation of the products, but without inactivating its growth. The suitable stems are harvested by hand and then dried in specially designed natural drying areas, without the use of environmental machinery.
Standardization
Once the drying of the herbs is completed, the stems are again hand-sorted to be taken to the standardization process, which takes place in certified, specially designed areas, with modern machinery to ensure the quality and safety of the final product.
