Properties

Louisa contains essential oil, tannins, flavonoids and gillyflower. It also contains the active substances varennalin and varverine. It is considered suitable for detoxifying the body, increasing metabolism, is diuretic, helps in slimming and fighting cellulite, is antipyretic, ideal for flu and colds.

Harvest

HOLOMON organic herbs’ organic Louisa is harvested during the summer months of July – August at an altitude of 254m. The selection of herbs is based on their growth stage. We always collect those parts of the plant that are suitable for the creation of the products, but without inactivating its growth. The suitable stems are harvested by hand and then dried in specially designed natural drying areas, without the use of environmental machinery.

Standardization

Once the drying of the herbs is completed, the stems are again hand-sorted to be taken to the standardization process, which takes place in certified, specially designed areas, with modern machinery to ensure the quality and safety of the final product.
