Properties
The organic herb Marjoram helps in the treatment of vomiting and is against abdominal pain. It is also used in cooking, in salads, soups and sauces. Marjoram is related to oregano and has antiseptic, analgesic and antispasmodic properties. It helps in period and stomach pains, headaches and migraines.
Harvest
The organic marjoram is harvested on Mount Holomontas at an altitude of 450m to 900m. The selection of herbs is based on their growth stage. We always collect those parts of the plant that are suitable for the creation of the products, but without inactivating its growth. The suitable stems are harvested by hand and then dried in specially designed natural drying areas, without the use of environmental machinery.
Standardization
Once the drying of the herbs is completed, the stems are again hand-sorted to be taken to the standardization process, which takes place in certified, specially designed areas, with modern machinery to ensure the quality and safety of the final product.
